Inspired by the ancient cave paintings of Lascaux, I recently finished this breathtaking relief sculpture of a horse with
a petrogylph rock behind him. Handprints and stories are etched in the rocks as he runs past.
Capturing the mysterious paintings of the prehistoric artists, this sculpture is washed in layers of earthtone colors.
The footprints of the thundering herd are etched in the sand beneath him.
Standing 16"tall and 14" wide, this sculpture is 6" deep so it is perfect for a fireplace mantel or narrow space.
